The Räven jacket, first released in the late 1970s, still features the same classic design of the original. Only now, it’s made of G-1000 Eco, a wax-impregnated blend of recycled polyester and organic cotton that boasts excellent resistance to wind and water. Two top-loading chest pockets provide storage for various items, while two additional top-loading lower pockets are designed with side slits, turning two pockets into four. Made from a blend of polyamide and organic cotton, the fixed hood can be rolled and folded into the collar. While a drawcord at the waist ensures a snug fit, bellow pleats at the shoulders and elbows allow freedom of movement.
Note: This jacket is available in Sand only. At checkout, you’ll have your choice of size, XS to XXL.
Founded in 1960, Fjällräven—Swedish for “arctic fox”—was inspired by a young man’s treks in the mountains near the small town of Örnsköldsvik. Dissatisfied with the gear available at the time, 14-year-old Åke Nordin began making framed backpacks in his basement using his mother’s sewing machine, and later expanded to tents. Today, the company applies Åke’s commitment to functionality, durability, and dependability to a wide range of products.
