The "karl" pants are probably the worst fjallraven pants available. The fabric collects dirt, seams to have pretty average durability, the pockets aren't anything special, and I really don't like the fabric texture. Apart from these, I have Keb, Vidda pro and greenland pro, all of which are vastly superior to the "karl", especially the "keb". You might really like these though, who knows.

KarlBirkirKarl, how could you not like your namesake pants? Jk.
I actually really like these pants because they have the same great fit, quality, and many of the same tecnical features, but without looking so techy. I can get away with wearing them to work or around town if I had too. Many of Fjallraven's pants are overbuilt for my needs, so the Karl fits the bill for me. But to each his/her own. Thanks for your input @KarlBirkir.

KarlBirkirI like mine. They don't have the technical look of other Fjallraven pants which make them more practical for my every day use. I like the soft feel of the fabric.
Can I wear them camping? Yes. Can I wear them shopping and around town? Yes. Can I wear them to church? Yes. Can I wear them to see my mother-in-law? Maybe.
Summary. They will work for me.

AbnerGlad to hear :) Maybe I'm giving them an unfair comparison, and for use which they are not intended.

KarlBirkirHow do you compare it to the vidda pro? Is the Karl more of a versatile pants in terms of more use/style than the vifda which is more focused on the outdoors? Cheers

EisufyYeah they're definitely a lot more casual than the Vidda. Pretty regular jeans.
