For the current owners, how durable are these? They look pretty frail, no strain relief on the point where the cable goes into the housing.

Durability is hit and miss, but customer service is excellent. My cable started wearing off at the plug (basically where the plug connects to the strain relief) after 6 months, but sending it in under warranty they replaced the whole driver assembly upgrading to a sturdier cable (with mic! the original one was w/o) in just under 2 weeks time from ship out to ship in. I think generally speaking the driver units themselves are very sturdy, and cable is fine except for, as was my case, the strain relief at plug's end.

I haven't had any issue with durability at all so far. I have used these mowing the grass, etc. My only nitpick is the weight of the Flare logo box at the Y split makes them a touch heavier than they should be given the actual IEM size. But it's an easy fix with a spare clip to attach to your shirt. I used one that came with JVC FX850 woodies.

The weight is for those who prefer to wear them cable up, if you wear them cable down you can remove the box by prying it open - you won't be able to put it back though, so it's a permanent mod.
