So I'm little late with this comment but the right earbud on my new R2A's went out (sounds extremely distorted/muffled) while I was using them out of my Galaxy S4 two days after I received them, with less than an hour total of use. I'm assuming I got a bad unit as I haven't seen any other complaints like this about the R2A's. I will contact Massdrop support in the next few days and hope they can do something to help me out.

Contact them, man. There is no reason that you paid what you paid to receive a bum pair. Just for reference, I have had mine since the last drop and they are working fine. Hopefully Massdrop will help you out, I know I would be pretty bummed out.
