These guys make excellent knives. Small batch, hand finished, great attention to the details. And Tomer, the guy behind FKK is a great dude. I've handled nearly every model he's designed. And that 52100 carbon steel is one of the most popular among virtually all of the top custom chef knife makers out there today. It takes an edge, holds an edge, tends to have a little 'tooth' to the edge which many chefs look for, and is slightly more corrosion resistant than its popular cousin 1095. And it performs well whether forged or ground. At this price these are quite the sweet deal.
