Not impressed with the thickness difference on "Brand new" Elex pads vs Unused Clear Pro pads. There's clearly a difference between thicknesses. The firmness between the two seems similar, and sound-wise can't really say there's much difference. There might be a hint of dB somewhere around the bass, but can't be sure unless I have a measuring rig. Elex and Clear pads afaik are similar, so sound-wise should be similar.

ZerviscosThey are different headphones, is there some reason they should be identical thickness? Or is this intentional 🤔

BrewbieElex is essentially Elear with Clear pads. So the Elex pads should be similar, but the qc in this case isn't. It's why people buy Clear pads to use with their Elex these days, also because Elex pads hasn't dropped in forever. The only reason why people buy Elex pads before was because it was much cheaper than Clear pads which used to be $199, now they're on perpetual sale for $79, and the Clear also is around the $800~$900ish range these days, essentially making the Elex almost null at this point if bought at full price.
