Hi everyone,  Quick update on the ear pads: We’re having a batch sent from our warehouse for additional QC— to determine whether the issues reported are widespread or, hopefully, just affecting a selection of the pads. Hi Jalessa, Adding to ConnorGasgarth's comment, it's disappointing that it took almost 3 months to respond to the initial feedback of a possibly defect. In your emails with Focal, can you mention that this problem has a negative effect on their overall branding. I was considering buying their speakers due to the Elex. But if they're messing up a earpad placement... Overall I'm pretty happy with the Elex. Thanks, -tzong

I cancelled my order for a 2nd pair that I'd been waiting on for months. Assuming this next batch are the same as the original ones that shipped with the Elex, how do I get my original order restored? When I cancelled it, the Drop rep insisted the ones shipped were true Elex pads and that future ones would be the same. Apparently that is no longer true and I would hate to be further penalized for listening to the incorrect info given by your company's rep. Thanks!

The Elex pad tuning is what the buyers are looking for, so it needs to be determined that these pads are the same as the pads originally shipped with the Elex. This review seems to indicate that they are different. Dimension and weight differences should be considered. Also, it is important that the padding type is the same.

At this point I just want my missing ear pad and don't really care about the so-called QC issues.
