For a completely portable interface able to handle both line and instrument level signals, plug into the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB Interface. Built with two pre-amplifiers, a high quality headphone amplifier, gain adjustment, and a 48 V phantom power switch for use with condenser microphones, the 2i2 is surrounded in an attractive anodized aluminum unibody chassis for good looks and proper protection.

No matter what input you use, the 2i2 brings you clean, detailed audio with enough gain to handle any instrumental inputs. If you want to hear the input signal without any latency, you can plug into the headphone jack and monitor directly. For a unique final touch, both gain knobs feature LED indicators that alert you if your sound is clipping (red) or if it’s exactly where it should be (green).
