Thanks for the update that you have no update but will update us with an update at a later date once you have an update. I'm just glad my first experience here is for a dinky little toy instead of an expensive high end enthusiast device.

chippy_maloneIt's not quite Massdrop's fault that the vendor isn't letting them know what's up with the shipment, or so I'd like to think. And besides, I'd rather get the non-update than be left in the dark for a couple more days.

Mykeku364 people in the drop ~$10,000+ in orders. If my boss asked me for an update on a product we ordered, I better be able to get him an update. There is a way to contact the vendor, believe me.

danielwashburnExactly. You and I would either be fired or fire the person responsible for irritating customers. Telling people you would ship an item ten days before Christmas and then not even letting us know the merchandise even exists is not the way to run a business that would like repeat customers. This is the gift a child asked me to get him. I just ordered a brass one from Amazon that will arrive in time. If these massdrop do not arrive in time for Christmas, I will refuse delivery and file credit card dispute. Amazon has six more brass ones for $30 if anyone else needs to save Christmas like me.
I really wouldn't care if it was some hobby item of mine, but this is a child's toy promised to be shipped in time for Christmas. A bunch of angry customers with disappointed children are used delivery packages, and credit card disputes at Christmas might teach them not to offer to sell toys they cannot get delivered to the North Pole in time For Santa
