for the spin base, is the top of the base glass? Do I run the risk of shattering it with the ceramic bearing on my Vorso?

me0wmixPlease read ForeverSpin's Terms and Conditions on their main website. I personally would only use their spinning station base exclusively with ForeverSpin tops or inexpensive tops. Their spinning base with the diamond like carbon surface finish has a habit of wearing down and causing a flat spot on any ceramic bearing and I suspect ruby also. I won't even use it with my stainless steel bearings for fear of creating a flat spot. In my opinion, anything softer than a diamond is at risk on a ForeverSpin base.
