Epople

I have three forever spin tops, not one can spin longer than a minute. I also have one from Kickstarter that has a ruby bottom that spins for roughly 10 minutes, yet only cost me $60.
EpopleI've had the chance to spin 7 different ForeverSpin tops so far; here are my findings:
The surface makes a huge difference in spin time. I've had the benefit of the ForeverBase for my spins but wouldn't get close to this on a desktop or other surfaces with small imperfections.
Each metal has its pros and cons. Most of them I can get between 1.5-2 minute spin times. The Tungsten top has been the hardest to spin, but once you get a good spin, it seems to spin longer (probably due to the hardness causing less friction). My top spin yesterday with the Tungsten top was 2:50 and that's the best I've gotten with any of them. There is definitely a skill factor and this is the most challenging of the collection.
