GooldenI have the exact same setup. I also own the Sennheiser HD 650, Sennheiser 6XX, AKG 702 65th, AKG 7xx and Beyer dynamic DT 880.
Schiit Stack is a great setup for powering all impedances. These are only 25 ohms so they won't require to much power. The stack has a pretty neutral sound signature so these go beautifully with them.
Get them. You won't be disappointed at all! Love these headphones. These are a great pair of "fun" cans.
if you have any concerns read the reviews of headfi.org. highly regarded headphones
My only gripe about these headphones is the cord being 10ft long and can get kinked and twisted fairly easy. also it is a non removable cable
Hope this helps! Cheers!

GooldenThese are definitely a more fun sound signature compared the hd600. Hd600 is the best neutral headphone and has been for quite some time. the fostex have great sub bass and really bring the music alive while still keeping the highs there. You lose a tad of the mid range But it is still pronounced

GooldenI don't want to choose that for you lol. If you want a more neutral sound the way the artist intended go for hd600. If you want a elevated signature with toned down but acceptable highs go with thx00. Also depends on your budget as you can find the hd600 pretty cheap now around 230ish USD compared to these which are 400
either way... they both are great headphones and both are highly regarded

GooldenThe AKG 7xx is very close and on par with the Sennheiser HD 600. Some like the low end of the K7xx a tad more than the HD600. The K7xxs are closer to the HD600 than the TH-X00. Unfortunately you may need to find a pair on eBay or if they have a sale on amazon which they may. I just bought my HD650 on amazon for $250 new and they usually stay around the same range in price.
these are a new pair on amazon

JMac44You are also trying to compare 4 fantastic and highly regarded headphones. Each of them are different in their own way and all equally fantastic in what they accomplish. It all comes down to what you look for in a headphone. If your looking to settle on one of them, you need to figure out what you want most when listening. Do you want analytical, flat, low end "fun", warm etc.? if you can't figure that out or can't decide that's why a lot of people have many different headphones all for different purposes. Look at me for example.
I have the Sennheiser 650, 6XX, AKG 702 65th, 7XX, Fostex TH-X00 Mahognany, and Beyer dynamic dt800 premiums. They are all different which is what makes this hobby so expensive lol! But if you enjoy hearing music differently and enjoy the art in it making a great headphone. This what the audiophile community is all about.

JMac44Out of curiosity what made you pickup the 6XX when you already had the 650 as well as the 7XX when you already had the 702 Annies. They claim there should be minimal (7xx vs Annie) or no difference in sound (650 vs 6XX).

ElectronicVicesI was just very curious to see if they truly had the same sound signature. As far as the 650s to the 6XX they are very close but i still hear a little more detail, warmth and a tad more bass reponse through the HD650s which I prefer, but it is razor thin.
As the 702 Annis and the 7XX, I had the Annis for a while now and just picked up the K7XX. They are more identical other than one being made in Austria (Anni) and the 7XX being made in China with slightly more bass. On my personal pair The Anni is defintely built with alot more care than the 7XX, less creaking with the plastic, tighten suspension. The 7XX feels a little china to me...
I feel like the HD650 and K702 65th are the collectors items where as the 6XX and the 7XX are the Mass version. Original is always better than the reproduction =)

JMac44Thanks for the reply, I only inquire as I myself had the question about the 6XX vs 650 and Annie or K712 pro vs the K7xx... just always bought something else instead. My what an expensive hobby. I am a bit glad the K812 drop is 200 more than the last time it popped up. At 799.99 I would consider it but not at 999. It sold regularly for less than that for most of the holiday season.

ElectronicVicesAbsolutely. I think we can all agree it is a hobby we love and appreciate. Yes it hurts my wallet but I got a good job and choose to spend on audio equipment haha! You can never have too much good sound or quality set of cans if you ask me. I tend to do my research before i pull the trigger on these pairs. Read opinions, reviews, youtube videos etc. Important to know exactly what your getting before you jump head first when it comes to headphones.
Anyway these Fostex X00 are some of the best headphones you can buy and I highly approve of their sound signature. They know exactly what they are going for and nail it.

JMac44The X00 is part of what I call my mid-fi trinity... with the following headphones I feel like one can cover all genres extremely well without accumulating the 25 or so pairs I built up over the years: 1) Fostex TH-X00 - my electronic/rap music friend. Also good with various forms of rock and progressive 2) Grado sr325e - cliche as one can get but damn these headphones do rock well, jazz and some vocalists 3) Phillips Fidelio X2 - a serious "all-rounder" primarily used as a gaming (with BoomPro)/movie headphone
As much as I love the above headphones I won't give up my Hifi Yin-Yang of Beyer T1 and HE500 any time soon :)
