Does anyone know if adding a ModMic would ruin or damage the coating/finish of the ear cups?

suparnemoIt's entirely possible that it could leave a dull mark when removed, if the adhesive is strong

suparnemoI have had a ModMic 4.0 mounted on my AKG K3003 In ear reference monitors. it did leave some adheasive on the the brushed aluminum, but that was removed with some Iso. Im not sure what to use on these cups, but I was thinking of making the same combo for use when playing games on my PC. its just. I can get a really good price on the new AKG N90Q headphones, and might go with thouse instead of the TH-X00. decisions decisions...

D_ZarsterWhy not just get a desk mic? They can be small and just put it behind your keyboard or attach to laptop monitor like the Samson Go usb mic. Work great.

JamesXThen you would have to tell me which desk mic can filter out Mechanical keyboard tabs. I use a Corsair K70 with red Cherry MX switches. so not the loudest, but NOT the most silent one either.. :P
