KeuNamooA good perspective to take, if you have bigger things in mind. You could also look into thinning the mid-fi herd to help fund a higher tier set, I've done the same myself over the past year. Having said that, these cans are special (love that fun signature and bass), and personally will be hanging on to mine.

KeuNamooThey're some of the best midfi cans I've tried, especially for closed cans. So, unless you're committed to moving up a tier (the Mr Speakers Ether C, ZMF Omni, Fostex TH-900 etc), these are a fantastic value proposition. Tbh, if you're after a real hi-fi pair of headphones, you're likely looking at open/semi-open headphones for home use (Sennheiser HD800, Beyerdynamic T1, various Audeze, Hifiman etc) and would have a pretty comprehensive audio chain (amp, DAC, source files, etc) to match.
