6EQUJ5Amazon? That's a sennheiser product that's discontinued now, but I think brainwavz and audio technica both make something similar now. Best headphone stand style IMO.

6EQUJ5Brainwavz makes the Hengja which is a very well built sturdy desktop hanger that clips on the side of the desk (i own it) and they also make the "Truss" which is made for two headphones but it sticks under your desk with 3M tape and I wouldn't trust that ever lol

WillDecided not to pull the trigger, I'm looking for a closed headphones for portable use. The thickness and length of the cable made it not portable at all, I guess my m50x lives another day. Sounds very tempting though, curious to hear how it sounds.

WillI agree. I've had the same stand for 2 years. It takes zero space and is absolutely very useful. I'm glad I bought it when it was available.

6EQUJ5That desktop clamp-on headphone hanger in Will's picture is a Sennheiser HH-10, which is discontinued now (as Will noted). But a knock-off version is available from the brand Auray.
I own three of those Sennheiser hangers. They're made of plastic, but they work well. However, my favorite clip-on headphone hanger is a German design from the company K&M (König & Meyer), that's all metal, and much better made than the Sennheiser. It's also larger than the Sennheiser hangers, which may or may not be preferable for you. K&M makes several variations (desk clamp, wall mount, etc.). Amazon, B&H Photo and several other major online retailers sell them.

EarsDo you ever worry about the strain hanging the weight of the earphones from a hook like that may place on the headband foam? I got a JustMobile stand from Massdrop and it seemed a little too much stress for the foam on my SteelSeries gaming headphones. Less of an issue for the K7XXs.
