Hi I have fiio x5 as DAC and aune b1 as amp, will chord mojo improve my listening experience dramatically or it's going to be just a minor upgrade for this headphones? Can anyone give me an idea on what to expect? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

CHEBURASHKAI have heard good things about chord mojo. I have no personal experience however.
I'm thinking of getting an iFi micro IDSD (since it has the 1/4" jack), anyone know if this is worth paying that much money for? (currently have e18).

CHEBURASHKAI've had (cheap) DAC / amps from ifi, Fiio and iBasso, but nothing quite compares to the Chord Mojo I auditioned this weekend. The Chord's sound signature is in a league of its own, but of course so is its price ...

scheepHmm, it's honestly not TOO much more than the IfI micro idsd on amazon i'm planning to buy..

scheepDid you try the Mojo with these headphones? Is there anything specific that stands out about the mojo (other than the fact that it is really good, anything particular?). I'm trying to figure out if I should just save up a bit more (I have enough for an iDSD) and get the chord mojo. (I like that the idsd has a 1/4" jack but other than that my usual listening is through laptop/nexus6p).

TjPhysicistAfraid I can't give you much more to go on. I auditioned the Chord Mojo for a couple of minutes with a pair of TH900 mkii, but I didn't do an A-B test with any other DAC / amp. What I heard was a beautifully expansive soundstage and tonal evenness which I liked very much. Hope this helps.
