It's been less than a year and mine has already broken. Fotopro's warranty doesn't seem to cover their tripods other than from the factory and their suppliers don't sell spare parts. I am disappointed they don't have better support for their high end consumer products. Anyone have suggestions for getting parts or alternatives to replace this one?

This is about $10 off the amazon prime price once you include shipping...
50usd shipping... Says a lot about the confidence they have in the weight of the tripod.

Anyone have a good sense of how the quality of this is compared to the MeFoto Road Trip? Shaving a pound off of my tripod's weight would be greatly appreciated, but not at the expense of quality.

Do you have a tangible reason to back this up?
I appreciate the reply! But without any discussion or evidence, this is a lot like asking "What camera is better, Canon 1DX II or Nikon D5?" and having a Nikon rep come in and answer "Our customers say Nikon is much better."
p4R4d0xI totally understand what you're saying. No, I don't have any tangible reason. Just hearsay on my end but I suspect my customers and resellers are always going to tell me what they think I want to hear. There may be a review on youtube that compares Mefoto vs Fotopro. I know there is a Fotopro vs Manfrotto review on youtube that liked Fotopro more.
I got the 3 legged thing corey and am realizing that I should probably have gotten this one since it is lighter (2.2 vs 3.4 lbs) while still meeting my needs.

CianI paid $10 more for mine, and waited from Oct 1, 2016 to Nov 21, 2016 , a total of 51 days until I *finally* received it. Its very nice but haven't had much time to put it through any real-life usage. Hopefully, they'll have sufficient stock this time and the wait time won't be nearly as long. This is all I can say about it thus far. I will update this as time and experience with it permit. Thanks for asking.. I only wish I had more details.

What are the load capacities of the legs and head?
Edit: Looking around online, the max load seems to be 8kg which should be fine for most setups.
Also worth noting, it looks like the center column is locked in the extended position and can't be moved. This almost certainly negatively affects the stability of the tripod.
