The magnetic tail is a fantastic addition to the MKII model. The inclusion of a bi-directional clip would be a nice plus to this model. Great brightness and programmable modes.

I’m the biggest fan of Massdrop (Drop). But this light isn’t one I would go for again. And I’ve bought at least 9 different flashlights here. I’m an airline pilot and a carry conceal Instructor. As far as ease of operation and ease of different modes ? It isn’t the best . I’ve bought others that were much better. As far as quality goes ? It’s made of top notch materials and put together well. I wouldn’t expect anything less from Drop. I've turned more of my airline friends and students onto Drop ! But the other flashlights are better
