Not 100% sure on the classification of this knife, but can anyone tell me if it falls under any of these categories
any knife, including a switchblade, gravity knife, or butterfly knife with a blade that opens automatically by gravity or centrifugal force or by hand pressure applied to a button, spring or other device in or attached to the handle of the knife; Or Constant Companion (belt-buckle knife);
Canadian law :\

VinceL25Almost any folding knife can be opened using centrifugal force. That's basically a reprint of the terrible NY laws on the subject that are being used to arrest black people who dare to have a folding knife.

inquisitorthreefiveYea, I am definitely not buying something for self-defense, and unless it's one on one, I honestly don't recommend fighting a criminal with your EDC knife, give them 30 bucks and move on. If people live in a bad area, go out to good areas at night then drive home, don't hang around at 2am if you know there's danger to be found. There's nothing wrong with self-defense but most of the time isn't not worth the risk to practice it against real threat.
