How about offering an exclusive waved version of this? A wave would really be the best way to open this. That is also the only downside I see with this design (would probably simplify the blade design, but eh.. whatevs) Even with the royalties paid to Ernie Emerson, it'd still be a great value. See wave mod video.
The only other option is a grav drop opening and while that's cool in the training hall or goofing at home, probably not reliable enough to use in a real life stressful situation.

dealaholicI was just popping in to say I would NEVER buy a karambit without wave deploy.... though i'm not in the business of collecting them, I plan (and hope to never) use mine.

dealaholicYeah, the amount of metal the guy took out of that blade's backbone is so beyond inordinate that I'm having trouble looking at it. Silver liners are ugly too.
