Really needs some sharpening and reprofiling for my use as it comes with a pretty obtuse edge (still sharp though)
The flipper also requires quite a bit of force to open the knife making it unpleasant to fidget with, could be a plus or a minus for you.
Great steel, holds a great edge, nice form factor.
Got hit by the classic Italian QC issues. Vertical blade play. Great design though, and I don't think it's dangerous or anything, but at the price point, a bit of a dissapointment.
First and foremost I am huge fan of Vox designed knives. I own probably 10 plus, as small as the Isonzo and as large as the new Ace Grand. And while I love my Grand, I generally prefer his smaller knives. As an electrician I carry this in my pocket almost every day. With the finger choil I can make precise cuts (when I have to remove tape from a bundle of wire, without cutting the insulation of the wire), and it's also bug enough to strip larger wires. It's fairly lightweight and the aluminum scales are nice. While I'd have preferred titanium, I cannot always get my wish. The cheaper aluminum does make it easier to put to use. The blue anodized scales are not quite as bright as in the picture but they still look good. I like the black hardware and it has definitely faded but it gives the knife character. The opening action works pretty good using a middle finger flick or the flipper tab, but closing does require a bit of a flick (its not fall shut, but its good) it is easy to dissemble and clean (even when dirt gets down into the bearing). The steel has performed well for me (someone said the heat treat on this particular M390 was not good, but I have not found that to be true). I would say it's probably not the best for a person with larger hands but it fits my medium hands quite well. I would recommend this to a friend and think 160 is a fair price.
this is an awesome knife. I have lots of knives of all shapes and sizes but this is now one of my favorites! Love the color. Came super sharp. Smooth to flip - very happy!!
Short stocky thiccc boy. I love how it rides in the pocket. M390 is sharp even if the knife stock is thick. The knife is still sharp after months of use.
