Fox Limited-Edition 479 Folding Karambit Knives
A Traditional Weapon Updated for the Modern World
Originally employed as an everyday carry knife in ancient Southeast Asia, the karambit has become an edged implement known for its utility in self-defense. Featuring the signature curved blade—modeled after an animal claw—and a retention ring along the handle, the Fox Folding Karambit takes the classic design and updates it for modern use. This limited-edition version is armed with a Bohler N690Co stainless steel blade with black coating for resistance to the elements and stealth. The handle, available in two different materials, is textured throughout for added grip. (The G-10 version is much rougher than the silver twill version). Also notable is the Emerson Wave opener, allowing you to open the knife directly out of your pocket.
