Smooth, absorbent, and resistant to feathering and bleed through, the Franklin-Christoph Firma-Flex Journal is designed with fountain pens in mind but also performs well with ballpoints, rollerballs, and mechanical pencils. Filled with 96 sheets of pH neutral, acid free, 90 gsm paper that’s made from sugar cane extract, the pages may have a light lavender hue in certain types of indoor light.
Note: At check-out, you can select the paper style (with corresponding stitch color) of all three A5-sized journals from Blank (grey), Dot (purple), Graph (olive), and Ruled (maroon).
True To Its Name
The Firma-Flex Journal gets its name from a more durable black cover that’s firm enough to offer support when writing near the front or back but flexible enough to bend and fit into virtually any bag or cover. With beveled edges, a debossed Celtic Knot and Four Diamonds logo, and subtle colored stitching that corresponds to each paper type, these Franklin-Christoph journals have a distinct look outside to match their unique paper inside.
