Though it's been asked before, I'm going to ask again at the top because I've seen no response from Massdrop: Is this item covered by a US warranty or is it a gray market (international warranty) item? I want to pull the trigger on this but want that information first from Massdrop.

photoman12001I would like for Massdrop to directly respond to this also.
In the past comments there is an answer by Sja52528 saying they recieved a response from Massdrop. I don't know how true it is. I would rather hear it direct from Massdrop to be sure. It seems as though the warranty is fulfilled by Massdrop and not by Fuji?
Here is the comment: "Thanks for reaching out with this great question! We'd be happy to fulfill whatever warranty Fujifilm offers for their USA retailers."

craizenYeah, we definitely should be provided this information upfront. It's important. Actually, the lack of a response to multiple queries over long periods of time probably tells us what we need to know.
