Excellent lens! However, if you wait for the Fuji sale (usually, 2-4 times a year, check Fujirumors.com), you can probably get it for $299, final price. But, if you need it now, $320 is not bad. ALERT! Check with Massdrop if this is a US version with guarantee or a grey market lens without warranty. If it is gray market, I wouldn't buy it. Fujifilm has been doing a LOT of things right the past couple years. Easily in top 3 manufacturers of cameras.

pantagI have bought several "gray market" Fuji and Olympus lenses and have always been more than happy with my purchases especially considering the savings! BTW, you still get a worldwide warranty. These "gray market" lenses were just sold into Australia for example. I quit worrying about "US Version" lenses years ago, have not looked back. I even called Olympus last year to go through this topic with their warranty dept and they fully reaffirmed that if I bought a non-US Version lens that had the worldwide warranty, they would still honor it if I had issues.

ben_in_sfMe too! However, Nikon will not touch grey market stuff and I believe Fuji, too. I have no problem with grey market. Just got a Voigtlander from Japan. BUT! The price must be right. A grey market version for the Fuji 35 f/2 should be close to $250. If you consider that when on sale, you can get a US version with warranty for $299.
