I got the mouse right now, is the thumb button really hard to press for anyone else or do I have a broken one?

KubiButton 7 requires much more force to click than the others. That's probably so you don't click it by accident given that you're likely to reset your thumb there.
I find buttons 6 and 8 to be a little hard to press reliably. 6 is a reach for my thumb, and both feel kind of...unpleasant? I think it's because there's no travel. They feel like there should be some spring rebounding them, but it's worn out and so they just kind of mush. They're clearly not warn out, so this is just a design quirk. Fortunately, those buttons aren't super important to me.
Another issue: the feet/skates have kind of a high coefficient of static friction. Maybe it's just because I'm not use to a mouse with such big feet, but my old Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000 is easy to move tiny distances. With this one I keep overshooting when making fine adjustments. Or maybe I'm just not used to the DPI. Or the weight. This mouse is different than my other mouse! :)

sidewaysmilkCan confirm about the thumb buttons being a little bit of an annoyance. Most likely will just have to get used to it as I am more accustomed to a springy feel. Only other annoyance I have with it is how sweaty my hand gets when using it. All and all I'm pretty satisfied with it.
