Small-Format, High-Fidelity

The DAC-M1 from FX-AUDIO doesn’t look like much—and that’s intentional. This tiny silver box is meant to tuck away at the edge of your desk setup. But don’t let the compact size fool you: the full-featured DAC-MA packs a high-fidelity punch.. An ES9038Q2M chip handles the digital-to-analog conversion in tandem with an XMOS XU208 USB interface, delivering solid sound card performance at a resolution up to 32 bits and 768 kilohertz. The connectivity includes USB, coaxial, digital optical, RCA, and a quarter-inch headphone jack powered by a Texas Instruments TPA6120A2 amplifier chip. There’s also Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, including less lossy codecs like aptX, aptX HD, and the lower-latency aptX LL. All of this audio versatility comes in an unobtrusive little box that’s easy to set up and easy to use.
