I received this drop last week and put the keys on a CMStorm Quickfire Rapid this weekend. All of the keys fit except for the space bar, which is very loose. I ended up using the original space bar. It would appear that the galaxy class space bar mount point fits fine on the middle, but the side inserts have too much play for the existing posts and as a result the key lifts from the side posts whenever it is pressed.

I had mine on a QF Rapid, too. Try adding a tiny piece of scotch tape to the tops of the costar stabilizer stems before pushing in the spacebar. That should give enough extra grip for the spacebar to work normally.

Fun fact: the Rapid-i uses Cherry stabilizers :)

I had the same problem on all of my stabilized keys and the solution KellyH mentions worked perfectly for me. It's a bit of a hack, admittedly, but this is just an issue with the Signature Plastics injection mold tooling. Any set from them in this profile will have the same issue.

Interesting. The un-backlit Quickfire Rapid and Quickfire Stealth (that just have the front-printed keycaps instead of top) use Costar. At least, they did when I purchased mine about a year ago. I think I prefer Costar to Cherry, although they can be more annoying when swapping caps!
