I'm tempted to get a few more, but I'm waiting for all the updates to become available. Web site does not show any new update that was supposedly available early August, and I'd really like to see that rechargeable option, since right now I've switched to ML2032 batteries to eliminate battery waste. Still in the testing phase, but so far so good. And where is the Android app?

wild_oneHello, we've recently released our new Desktop Application and the Android app. We'd be happy to send it to you, all we need is your email address :)

GK-ChainIf it's the same one listed in the Play Store, released by CoolCAD Electronics, then I don't see the point of providing my email address for what amounts to a three year old app.

infojunkeI never got a response regarding testing, so the only way I was able to get it was after I joined their Kickstarter for the Halberd.

wild_oneI wonder if that's just a kickstarter thing then, I purchased the Halberd, but after the kickstarter was over, what are your thoughts so far?

infojunkeAs much as I appreciate the Halberd, I wish it was smaller, or had a rechargeable battery. I'm just using the Trident app for my needs, and so far it acts no different from the original, and the bonus is that I don't have to worry about having spare batteries or needing that USB dongle.
It does make me wonder if they plan on either selling the app, or just placing it out in the open. Given how the Kickstarter had a $5 tier for early access to the app, I'm thinking they might place it up for something like $9.99 once they move it out of beta. At this point, there are at least 50 devices it's been installed on in the Google Play Store, and there are a total of 437 backers, with only two comments regarding the quality of the app...
