TheSourceOfTheNileI ended up getting these switches, made me quite happy! What kind of lube do you recommend? Does the tactile “bump” disappear when lubed, or become more distinct because it’s the only point of resistance along the switch’s travel?
EvshrugI would recommend lubing every part of the switch except for the front side of the "bump" on the stem. I lubed mine over a year ago and they still feel great after constant daily use. It is most important to lube the springs with Krytox 205g0 so that they don't have any spring ping. I would also highly recommend filming them with a 0.15mm switch film so that they feel 'tight' again and sound better after reassembly. The lube is there to remove the grainy feeling and spring ping that you will experience with the switch in its stock form. Tell me if any of these mods end up working out well for you!
TheSourceOfTheNileI’ll search for some Krytox 205g0 with the google… lol I’m about to get some funny ads 😂
Thanks for sharing, and helping out a keen noob like me!
The description mentions a 110-count pack, but only 70-ct and 90-ct packs are currently available to pick from. Are 110-ct packs coming back any time soon?
