So what's the deal with the Yellows? I just got my bag from the first massdrop and they are FAR from super blacks; I'd put them somewhere around regular blacks. They're smooth, I'll give them that, but not really appropriate for a spacebar (or other larger keys) on a black keyboard.

nak1017ya i would like more info on the yellows. The geekhack GB didn't do yellows because they thought it was to heavy of a switch.

cc24Well, they're not... They'd make a good replacement for blacks.

nak1017Yeah, I'm noticing the same thing. Posted inquiry on reddit hoping somebody would show one of the stronger yellow springs for a comparison.

When I was measuring, I found the yellows were almost the exact same force as the blacks I received, possibly even about 5g less than the blacks. Was really looking forward to trying something out that heavy.

nak1017ugh. I just joined drop for yellows because I use MX tactile Greys on my Filco and could go with even more resistance on my second board... Big disappointment if the entire yellow batch is like this. Why bother selling them? Can someone from MD please chime in?
I'd like my order to be HEAVY yellows

ViscontiThe original gateron yellows were incredibly heavy, like super blacks. Newer versions I guess are completely different.
