Massdrop doesn't charge until the drop is over. At that point you'll get charged the lowest price. If you've committed to join at a certain price and that isn't reached then Massdrop shouldn't end up charging for it.
It's a rare scenario where the lowest price is reached and it goes back up again, this being the first time I've seen it happen. I would imagine if that in those situations you wouldn't be charged since it didn't reach the price you agreed to when you committed. But since the drop is currently sitting at 46 people then it shouldn't be an issue this time.

Apparently, there are 45 people in the drop, one person bought a pair it seems. If that guy pulls out, we'll be back to $209.99 :) Yeah, MD should implement automatic return to commit status should the drop lose a few buyers and the price rise at the last moment. Prolly less hassle than going through a bunch of order cancellations if the people are not happy with the purchase price, expecting lowest commit price and facing a higher priced tier instead.
