I've now used this pack a dozen times or so to really get a feel for it. The first thing I'd like to mention is their air pump system to pressurize the bladder... It works as described but I find it's not really a big deal to me and having the pump on the strap is kind of uncomfortable. Good news is, you can just leave that part at home and it works just like every other hydration bladder. The compartments are very large, you can fit a lot of stuff in this pack. I appreciate the flap with the small zippered compartments can flap outside of the main compartment, so you can easily access the contents without digging in your bag. The straps are very comfortable, may be the most comfortable hydration pack I've ever used. The plastic spine of the bag is very thick and offers great support. The attachment points for things like trekking poles and tripods on the rear are more practical than most other packs I've used. My only gripe is that when the bag is full (compartments + water), it is very difficult to reach into one compartment alone and pull stuff from the bottom. Often, I'll remove larger items from the adjacent compartments to make room to reach down to the bottom. I don't know how it could be designed to not do that, but it's a limiting factor in how much stuff I can pack in this thing. Overall, fantastic product and I would highly recommend.

Solid
Squirts water like a champion. Carries very easy with full bladder and 2 water bottles. The ventilated back padding keeps you cool. Great for taking the kids to a fair and dodging $ 5 bottle waters. Enough storage for the kids to put their acquired fair treasures. Love the Green color.

Decent for the money
It's a tad small, but has carried everything I needed for a day at the beach or a long motorcycle trip. The pump is a nice addition over my osprey bladder that I used previously on a long motorcycle trip, having pressure in the line makes drinking much easier when you have to remain focused on the road.

(Updated review) dissapointment
The backpack arrived at my post office just now and will arrive tomorrow, hopefully. Im sure the bag will be nice but -2 stars for massdrops beyond cheap shipping service. Wake up massdrop. Stop using fedex smartpost.. its not smart. It took a few weeks from when it was shipped to get here even though it was sent from just 2 states away. Fedex takes unreasonable amount of time to ship items and that generally means the box will arrive in a beat up condition. If they had just sent through usps for same price it would likely arrive in 1-2 days. (Updated review) wow i could not be more displeased with this backpack. At first i thought how could they mess up a backpack but im woke now. First the bag shipped extremely slow. Second upon getting the bag i go to check it out and i open the water bag pocket. Inside i find a bunch of string and i wonder where it came from. After closer inspection i notice a bunch of little holes encircling the bag where the string should have been. Somehow somebody took the time to meticulously undo all the stitching that helped keep the back water chamber and the front main pouch separate. Wow. This made me look at all the other stitching on the bag and i can see already most of it is very loose and i can tell even a slight pull on the ends and the yarn will all come out (exactly what you dont want on an edc/camping bag). I also noticed the water exit nozzle is this bright baby blue color which throws off the color of the bag. The pictures show a grey nozzle and sometimes even a dark navy color but not a neon baby blue nozzle. Lastly and most importantly is the bag is easily the most uncomfortable bag ive ever had. The padding on the back is VERY thick, usually an indicator of cheap padding. And its cheap, very stiff padding. So cheap when you press on the padding it makes a crinkling noise, like its stuffed with cellophane, very weird. There are many glowing reviews of this bag on the internet but none seem to have these issues. My guess is this was especially made for drop, and they really cheaped out.
