I just received my Opal keycap of the prism and it seems to look different to the picture. Mine has a slight taint of yellow and just isn't clear compared to the picture. Is there anything I can do to fix it or is it just how it is? (I didn't do anything, it came out the box like that)
I got the topaz one a couple years back and as a heads up, the blue has turned to a sea green over that time, even though it has been in a drawer for over a year (in a smokefree household). I'm not sure how common this sort of thing is with resin or if it's fixable but here's how it looks now in any case.
Does this fit Razer's opto-mechanical switches, given that the stems differ slightly from cherry MX stems? I am using a Huntsman with clicky (purple) switches.
Is each prism a different color depending on the color base you buy? Or is this because they refract light differently because of the color plastic they're nestled in? I love the opal base but the onyx prism looks to have the most color.
QuinnjamintvThat's a good question... I would GUESS that it's the latter, and that their coloring depends a lot on the base itself as well as whatever color light may be shining through it. Would love an official answer though
