Mine arrived, exactly one month after ordering. Tang extension, as others note, is considerably longer than the stock pic indicates, but any shorter and I don't think it could be flipped open as easily. Not that it's easy, but I found a method which involves a good wrist flick. The detent is not stiff, rather the pivot is stiff and the detent too weak to be of any help when opening. Think of this as a frame-lock friction folder and you won't be too disappointed, haha. I'll update as I play with, carry and use it. I'm surprised at how much I like it so far.
I just bought one of these in clam pack a month or so ago. Front flipper my a$$ the detent on this is stiff as hell. I've broken it in and it still will not front flip. I don't hate this knife but i would not recommend it. It is categorically NOT a front flipper!
So the description pics definitely have a lil Photoshop action going on at the flipper tab. The buyer photos show a much larger/longer tab than the stock pics.
Gabriel_MThe flipper tab is HUGE on this knife. It is so long it is part of the reason it will not deploy as a front flipper. The tab hits your hands regardless of how low you grip the handle and it stops the blade midway of opening. It really is poorly designed.
The lack of proper and necessary (and not to forget accurate) product information on this website is really making me lose interest in coming back here, recommending, or even respecting this website in the future.
Yikes
XuriousI'm using and enjoying mine. I don't get why people were initially critical of this piece. Something not shown is just how well it's frame lock fits in the hand ensuring no slippage. I have more expensive liner locks I don't trust as much as this. Your grip... prevents slip...
So many knife snobs in the comments lol, 7Cr17MoV holds a nice edge, some of us just want a cheap boxcutter that can be sharpened. I'll give you my review when I get mine. So many Rambos in the comments. Get your concealed weapons license and buy a handgun for self defense. Nothing funnier than a douche canoe w/ a $200 box opener which so many of you are.
