I had a gerber multi tool that was similar to this but about 20 years old without the center drive. It was fantastic. I unfortunately lost it so i bought this to replace it and my wife got me a leatherman for christmas. It seems like the gerber quality has gone down a bit compared to the original that i had. It may last another 20 years like the old one but the fit and finish doesnt seem nearly as good. Definitely not as good of fit and finish as the learherman, but im a gerber guy so we will see how this holds up. I really like center drive design and it will be a useful tool that gets the job done.
