An ancient instrument of war, the Tomahawk is as iconic as it gets in the realm of weaponry. This one from Gerber features a 420HC steel construction. To prevent reflection and toughen it up, the axe is covered with Cerakote coating. This gives it serious corrosion and wear resistance—which you’ll need in the field when things go south. The axe has multiple functions. Flip it over and it becomes a hammer; reverse it and it becomes a pry bar. The hollowed-out head allows you to put a hand through it for extra leverage. For a standard grip, this tank is constructed with G-10 scales. It packs away with the included sheath.
