As the title says, I needed a more ultralight utensil for backpacking, and getting another knife was a bonus. I'm not overly fond of the rubber handle, but it's sturdy. Stands up to what I use it for: yardwork and foraging.
The sheath doesn't lock the knife in like I expected from the images. But it's a pretty nice quality blade, been keeping it in my lunch box for eating at work.
Affordable and fun. Knife is fine, nothing fancy. Spork... meh.. the fork part could use a little refining as the tines are a bit wide which makes piercing with the fork more difficult. Overall a good gift for a 13 yr old boy getting into camping though.
The Sheath is sticky, especially in the cold. The clip doesn't hold onto anything. Price is good for the whole bundle, but there's too much to complain about.
Have not opened item's get but they do look good, saving for camping trip. I would like more for other family members. Would also like black or tan G-10 handles. Thank you.
Not sure who Gerber designed this package for. The only good thing about it is the knife. It wasn't debured all that well but it was a decent knife.
The knife sheath is horrible. The clip to clip it to the belt is to weak compared to the mechanism to get the knife out. The package says the sheath was made to put on a backpack but it doesn't fit on any of mine.
The spork is way to thin and flimsy. I feel like if used for more than sipping soup it will just bend in half. Its not because its just to light. Things can be light and strong, but this is just light. This spork bends under any pressure of trying to hold something down to a plate or saw.
All in all I would not recommend to a friend or an enemy. Just buy the knife alone and then buy a stand alone sheath somewhere else,
