Just a bit of information - these guys (German Maestro) was initially the core of MB Quart company, but after MB Quart was acquired the buyer got rid of all of the projects except the stuff he was really after which is weirdly the acoustic systems for motor boats. So engineers started the new company under the new name but you can check that their line of headphones is the same line they did under the MBQ. These were MBQuart QP400 and QP450 respectively.
How do these headphones compare to Sennheiser HD 650s?
Personally i like them better for their more refined sound, but i have a friend with a pretty big head who can wear normal headphones but my GM's he can't even put on. Overall pretty solid build quality but i'm a little bit biased because i had Quart Phones as my primary listening devices for the last 20+ years.
Interesting stuff. I've never been into headphones but was HUGE into SQ car audio systems in the 90s and early 2000s. While I liked the local a/d/s/ brand better, I always had much respect for the precision sounds of the Quarts. Knowing that this brand has ties to Quart has got me very interested...
