BJorn_LuLszicOh not sure. That isnt me :) .. I have'nt tried the GM or the Senn's.. I have a 5 series sennheiser (518) but never have tried the 650 or 6xx. I never tried a German Maestro headphone, maybe one day.
expontherise "I noted above that the sound is near perfect, and compared to the most "neutral" headphones I've heard such as Sennheiser's HD-800, the 8.35D's signature (i.e. balance) has slightly less energy in the highs, slightly more power and impact in the bass, and somewhat more forwardness in the lower midrange (but very little of that forwardness). The highs are as near perfect a balance as I could want, although for people with very extended hearing above 12 khz or so, it will not have as much energy in that range as some of the top-end headphones." -Dalethorn, innerfidelity forum review of the GMP 8.35
I think from what I read on that review is an idea of what I thought the GMP 8.35 would like, impactful bass, relatively flat and neutral midrange, and bit more energetic upper mids, with detailed and brighter highs( but supposedly not as bright as something like the HD800s according to that particular review which was written in 2012 )
UzuzuWhy so? Another pair that is looks somewhat similar and is closed back also comes from Germany which are compared closely to Hd650 are Beyer DT150. So, why can't these?
