Just joined. I've been telling myself I need a closed over the ear set of cans so I can complete my set.
I have the on-ears:Thinksound on2 open back: 6XX, HD700 on the way IEM:Vsonic gr07 BE (may upgrade soon)
I might as well go with something indestructible for my last pair!

HelpbotI absolutely love my Thinksound on2 despite the fact that they're on ear and not over ear. The vegetable leather or whatever is the only ear pad material other than velour that I don't hate.

CorinthI wrote a little review at the top of the discussion thread.
For the ON2 specifically, it's less warm, less enveloping bass, very slighty more foward mids that are transparent as well. I think i can say that the Soundstage is worse but the imaging is amazing. I can tell very minute differences that were not obvious to me before, for example, the placement of each member of a brahms string quartet recording. That was a magnificent experience, probably always there, but I had never tried too hard to pick out the distance from the mic.
