How are these compared to Beyer DT 770 Pro? (in terms of sound signature)

XFSCThey are world different, like yin and yang. I haven't try the velour ear pad as the one i bought only come with the stock pad. I also only have DT990, but i heard that DT770 is very close in sound signature to DT990 so they are very emphasizing on bass and treble while this Maestro very focus on mid. I was so used to they Beyer sound that when i first listen to this one, it sound like they only have mid and every thing else is in the background, the very far background. These are also never get as comfy as the Beyer, tbh even far from it. However there is one thing that this one doing better than the beyer is that it is very durable, i throw them anywhere i like and it still sound the same, no scratch at all. Every thing in this can is indestructible just as it said in the title, but be aware, they are ugly. I just bought it to see the sound signature and to have something that i would not mind bring with me even on a road trip but other than that, i think it even look worse than some ear protection that worker wear and the mechanism to extend the both ear is not every well design, the plastive look like the one from a chair somewhere, the cable is good tho. I think that all there is to know about it. Just ask if you want to know anything specific.

XFSCThe comfort is very obvious, maestro pad is not the best, damn not even on the good side but the sound image (sound separation) is reasonable good and not bassy for close back, very good. I am waiting for a new hybrid pad for my headphone, really looking forward to it.
