So, what size pads would fit these? I would like a pair of leather memory foam pads for this but unsure which brand or model to get. I see someone used Brainwavz but which model fits best?

JakobI believe that someone in the reviews section said that these require 100mm round pads, and that 110mm would be too large. With that in mind, I have been considering these as an option: https://www.brainwavzaudio.com/collections/earpads-round/products/headphone-memory-foam-earpads-round-sheepskin-leather I don’t have my Maestros yet, I should have them in a week so don’t have first hand experience yet.

StariusGreat, thanks. I may as well just hold off until I get them and see if I really need new pads.

JakobI am too, I think. Though, I did send a message off to Brainwavz asking for confirmation about the size just out of curiosity. We'll see if I hear back Monday or so.

JakobI just wanted to let you know that I received my Brainwavz pads today, and I was worried that they wouldn't fit as the opening was closed in on the back a bit more than the pads that came with the GermanMaestro headphones. However, it was tricky but they do stretch enough to get the pads onto the headphones. When you get them on, they are SUPER comfy. In my opinion, they make a very nice upgrade for the headhones, though more time to listen with them will tell more.

StariusThanks for the update. Turns out I bought Dekoni pads for my Emu bamboo and had their stock pads and they too fit but required a bit of stretching but fit and are similar to the shape of the stock 8.35 pads but softer and thicker. I am actually pretty pleased with the 8.35 stock pads. They are definitely cheaper feeling but obviously fit perfect, sound great and feel fine on head. Might just stick with stock.

JakobYeah, I had been using the velour pads up to today and I really didn't have any complaints with them either, though I expect they might get warm in the summer. The 8.35 needed some burn in time, but I am enjoying the headphones.
