One of the most heavily trafficked intersections in Manhattan, Columbus Circle is the inspiration behind this Gevril timepiece. To pay homage to the landmark, the caseback is engraved with a visual of the famous statue of Christopher Columbus, plus a small window for a peek at the inner workings. Flip it over and you’ll see the rest of this limited-edition watch’s modern charm. The dial is comprised of concentric rings and wheels (displaying the day and date), at the center of which is a stationary disk displaying the astrological symbols of the corresponding days of the week. An automatic timepiece, the Gevril Columbus Circle is powered by an ETA 2834/2 movement with a 38-hour power reserve. Rounding out the watch is an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a decorative crown.
