I'm currently in the worst warranty repair battle of my life with gigabyte support over an older version of the Aorus X5 laptop. If you are thinking about biting on this deal, just keep in mind that their currently rocking a solid F with their local better business bureau: https://www.bbb.org/losangelessiliconvalley/business-reviews/computer-parts/gigabyte-technologies-in-city-of-industry-ca-13136347

zypherionouch, i'm sorry dude.
what exactly is the issue with the battery and what are they trying to charge for the repair?
should be user replaceable right?

TheIzzardKingThe battery itself isn't the issue, when running on battery there is a driver compatibility issue that causes bluescreens/crashes. A user on the forums was able to pin this down to something with Hybrid sleep and Nvidia drivers, but their support was no help at all.
The warranty service I actually sent it back for is because it just started burning up M.2 drives (physically killing them) and they are claiming it's an Intel chipset/windows 10 incompatibility that's causing the issue so it's not their problem... Not cool.
