Market rate pricing once again...with a modest savings. You have to forget about MSRP as prices are still over $1,000.00 for this card at Newegg, eBay, and Amazon. Now that mining cryptocurrency is on the downturn, hopefully prices will stabilize in 3-6 months. Hammering Massdrop serves no purpose at this point....if you don't like the price, bail on the page. Tolerance folks...no need to turn this into the Spanish Inquisition EVERY TIME they post a video card. Comment with your wallet...or lack thereof.

IronpeddlerI don’t think prices will stabilize until after Q3 IF Nvidia announces 11XX/ 20XX. they may might start to maintain stability for now but if rumors are true (not saying they are) than I suspect that they will be a bit of a mess afterwards and it will take a few months them to stabilize. So I don’t believe that they will stabilize so soon. I believe that it will be about october when the prices will level off. If the rumors are true.

Ironpeddler" You have to forget about MSRP as prices are still over $1,000.00 for this card at Newegg, eBay, and Amazon." - Just because others are heavily price-gouging too, it doesn't mean Massdrop should follow suit (like the saying goes, "two wrongs don't make a right."). Maintaining integrity is much more important than profiting from price-gouging, and after the many price-gouging GPU drops Massdrop has done recently, its integrity has gone to the dogs.

IronpeddlerPrices wont significantly go down until the price of memory stabilizes. And that's not going to happen for a looong time.

CalisThe concept of ‘Supply & Demand’ starts at the wholesale level, not always at the retail level. What you’re accusing Massdrop of is unfounded at best. If a video card has an MSRP of $600, basic rules of markup says it SHOULD cost between $350 to $425. That said, you’re saying Massdrop is adding over $500 to $600 to the price. Just so you know, I have a buddy that works for a major chip manufacturer in the Pacific Northwest who’s name starts with the letter ‘I’ and he just built a brand new rig...Gigabyte quoted him over $780 for the same card plus shipping with their corporate discount. He stuck with his current 1060.
