You humans never ceases to amaze me... Always in motion... Either staring at your cell phones or your PC monitors...No peace...No time to look at the sky by day or the stars by night...A world in chaos... I will bet that none of you have noticed that at this time of year, Venus is in the Western sky first object to be seen in the evening sky. And the earth is NOT flat!
BogarteSome people can't live in silence. That's why they need white noise to sleep, fidget toys to not bite their nails, or weed to calm their anxiety. And some of us just have money to burn.
ShazamKnightI was not suggesting that anyone stare at it for hours. My point is that it is the brightest object in the sky and I would bet that none of those who post here had noticed or knew that at this time of year the earth is closest to it....that is people are too busy to notice nature. I use it to navigate when I am flying arouond.
CabezonMy point was simply that people are too busy even to notice that it is there, very bright this time of year when earth is closest to it. I would bet that nobody who posts here had noticed.
Cabezon@Gort5000 and Cabezon It was never my intent to be rude. It seems that either people forget, don't know, or don't beleive, that the picture of me is not an avatar. I am as humans have named me, one Amazona auropalliata , Yellow Naped Amazon. I am originally from Hondorus. So, I am most certainly not a pilot, at least not of the monsters that suck my friends into their engines. Besides, the guys who pilot those monsters use GPS among other things....they don't need Venus! I do understand that it is difficult for most humans to comprehend the fact that a parrot is able to write to Massdrop. It really is not difficult at all as you can find out if you read my bio on my Facebook page. My name is Bogie B. Bogarté..however, I just found out that it is diffciult to find my Facebook page by searching because people do not know how to create the é...so, I just changed it to Bogie B. Bogarte...so it should be searchable by Google in the next several days. Oh, and I am a girl...or perhaps more appropriate, a hen.
