Made with strength, rigidity, and low weight in mind, the Giottos Pro Series YTL8383 Silk Road tripod features a carbon-fiber construction and a Y-shaped center column that makes it easy to carry and store. It has a maximum height of 72 inches, a load capacity of 17.6 pounds, and a weight of just 3.5 pounds. The center column’s unique cantilevered design allows it to tilt 180 degrees and rotate 360 degrees, and thanks to the three-position leg-spreading feature, you’ll be able to shoot as low as 7 inches from the ground. Finally, the three leg sections are equipped with quick-lever locks, eight calibration marks on the lowest section, and removable rubber feet—so you can swap in spikes if you so choose.
