bobgr8I agree with you both. Not even close to the complexity of a Dwarf Factory cap, yet it is the same price.
MisterHockeyDwarf team creates a completely different style from us - we make keycaps with 100% resin but Dwarf team, they paint the keycaps so that's why they have more detail than us. And the price - it's not too hign if you compare us with another team on Reddit marketplace

StarFishFogelFirst of all really nice looking key. I want to be clear on that. But no need for insults, @GirlycapsStudios. The question about price is fair- resin casts of this nature are usually in the $20-$30 range. The DF Ha Long Bay key costs less than this, and it's obvious where the money is going in that case. Even so, I had to think long and hard about spending that much on one, essentially non-functional key. If there's something about the materials or creation process that causes the price to be so high, just say what that is, and people will likely be understanding of that. But to insult potential customers...that's not going to get you very far.

KmonkUsally the resin casts from artists (i know) are ranging between min! 40-90$. Obviously everyone likes different things but saying that these are lagging in details or smth is bs. If u check insta (way better pictures btw) this its pretty much on par w/ a salvador or other clean casts imo.

StarFishFogelYou wanna pay 25$ for hand made multishot resin casts? I've only seen that from "hotkeys" and I have no idea how they can afford to do it. Each one of these takes hours to make, Every color has to cure separately so they don't mix, and if there's details on the sides of the mold you have to angle the mold to cure just for that side. so for something like this it would have to cure one time (the cure time of whatever resin they use) for every single color, and side. In my experience this can take days to make a single cap. (although I imagine/hope they do these in batches, for their sake) Most multishot caps like this that have more detail are around 80$-100$ Here's a short overview Zorbcaps did on multishotting: https://www.zorbcaps.com/tutorials/multishotting Multishot resin caps are the most popular way to make keycaps in this style, because the color can't wear off like paint might. I LOVE dwarf factory keycaps, but they don't do multishot castings, and since it's just paint their able to put a lot more detail in for a similar price, then they typically encase the whole "scene" in a single resin cast.

camdudeNo amount of information about the production process etc. will change my mind about what I think about the cap. I don't care about the production process, I care about the end product. And for me, for my personal preference, let me repeat this as it seems to have been missed in my first post and in subsequent posts that in MY OPINION, its not worth it. Let me go on to say that I welcome you to have a different opinion to me, I have no objections to you wanting to buy the cap, if you like it please do it and enjoy it :)
