Thus far I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with this keyboard. I received mine yesterday and here are the major reasons why I would have stayed away had I known all of this before ordering.
  1. Keyboard starts in bluetooth 1 mode even if you plug it in straight to a PC, meaning you have to disable bluetooth every time you turn on your computer or replug the keyboard.
  2. Manual is not very intuitive and a huge chunk of the configuration software is in Chinese. All of the files/configuration names are in Chinese so its literally trial and error figuring out what things do.
  3. Keyboard switches are OPTICAL, so sure, they are hotswap, but not compatible with typical Cherry MX style switches. So for a majority of us, the hotswap capabilities will probably be unused.
  4. The redesign of the keycaps was a major annoyance. I was willing to look past it until I figured out all these other drawbacks. The side printed secondary functions looked great, but now the keycaps look cluttered.
  5. Secondary function on keycaps has practically no back lighting, see next point for explanation.
  6. You know how there are pictures showing off how the main legend LED is one color but the secondary function (like the F1, F2, etc) are a different LED color? Well, you cant ACTUALLY SEE IT! The LED's are mounted on the PCB, and I have visually confirmed that each key has two LEDs, however, the switches that are included with the keyboard are SOLID BLACK body so the bottom LED is literally useless. The only switch that has a completely clear body is the Fn/6+ key which is why you'll see it dual color. This means that you need OPTICAL switches with COMPLETELY CLEAR housing to take advantage of the dual LED design. This is an enormous fail in my opinion, and I can't imagine how this was overlooked or blatantly ignored. See what I mean: https://imgur.com/a/350svEQ . You can't see the bottom green half on any keycap because the bottom half of the switch housing is solid black instead of being clear.
  7. Fourth image in the massdrop marketing for this keyboard clearly shows switches that are completely transparent. The switches I received were not. False advertisement? Can I get the switches that were actually advertised or a refund?
If I would have known all these short comings of this keyboard, I would have cancelled my order. Extremely unpolished and clearly lacking foresight with the dual-LED design.

False advertising, cheap crap.
Would give it 0 stars if I could. Doesn't sit straight on the desk, the corners are uneven and it wobbles. The keycaps are awful, and were swapped for inferior ones after the purchase was made. Doesn't allow normal mx switches to be used, so not really as hotswap as you'd want. Too late to get a refund from Drop so now I'm stuck with a useless paperweight.

Disappointed
Everything other reviewers have said with the exceptions of having to turn on - off BT to get the keyboard to work. Seems to connect every time for me. Board doesn't wobble for me either so there must be a QC issue? This is my first 60 kb and I'm super disappointed with the bait and switch. Hell no I would not recommend this to a friend, nor would I recommend Drop.

As others have noted:
  • the switches delivered were not what was advertised
  • the keyboard as delivered is not dual light
  • the keyboard as delivered/supported by current software is not "fully programmable" - layer 0 is fixed
  • keycaps are not what most of us signed on for, and without secondary LED are just cluttered.
  • no manual was included
That said, I seem to be unusual in that my keyboard does not wobble, and the switches included feel OK, if NOT what I was expecting -- No, I can't use them on anything else, and I don't have anything else to hot swap into them, but IF I can figure out how to program the thing well enough, and can figure out a sensible solution to not being able to rework layer0 I can see this being my shoulder bag keyboard for my phone and chromebook. Would I buy it again, or recommend it to anyone? Not unless Drop sends me decent tactile switches that actually deliver on what they said they were going to be sending me and the manufacturer releases a usefully translated English version of the programming software. Then I'd have to say it's not a bad deal if they correct the descriptions. If this was traditional mechanical switch hot swappable it'd be a great tester keyboard. If I could figure out how to program it, it still might be a decent one for the price.

・It is immoral to change the keycap design after DROP. ・Certainly the key switch is Gateron, but it is not a common cherry compatible switch.   The official name of this PCB is GK66-RGB light axis(=GK66-RGB光軸). ・Standard layers can not be edited.   However, if I examined GK6XPlus Driver in advance, it might have been known. Insufficient explanation. With this keyboard, I can not do anything I wanted to do. Totally disappointing. However, as a 60% mechanical keyboard that supports Bluetooth, the product itself is by no means inferior.

Couple hours and so disappointed. Drop really dropped the ball on this one. Practically just dropped shipped this keyboard to us without any clue what this keyboard is. -It's optical switches? Tf, good thing I didn't order zeal healioses for these to use at school. -Terrible ugly keycaps. -Software is bad and there is no paper manual included. -Wobble. HOW? It's a fixed chassis with no flip out feet. -Starts out as bluetooth mode only... -Build quality is cheap and keyboard is light (as expected) The stabs on these are also nothing special and as expected. Overall pretty bad. If I got to try this in real life, there would be zero chance I would actually buy it.

Feels pretty flimsy
I should've expected it given the price point and that it's plastic, but it just felt too thin and lightweight for me to comfortably enjoy using it. Software is what I'd expect from a cheap chinese board and the caps are mediocre. Honestly, I'd just recommend paying more for a better board in the end. You might as well just get a cheap non-mech keyboard if you don't want to pay a bunch.

Cheap starter board
Bought it to try. North and south leds but the switches that came with it were only north... Had a hard time to find dual axis led switches but found them on alibaba. Now i can have dual color per key. Changed the case for cnc alu. Bought side print black backlight keecaps. It looks nice now. The soft for programming is quite obvious. But with a bit of practice... Now it stands on a shelf. Won't buy another one. But was fun to custom.
